not only shooting in not only shooting in a like we knew there's something much much bigger is going right here right here behind us uh if you walk ran into that there are two people that blow up from grenade I just spoke to soldiers that are watching they told me it was terrorist and thank God but this looks like the war zone there were like 60 people died all around here RPG Miss uh uh a m car three different cars a tank that was stuck right behind us over there um and basically that's how my shot this morning like I'll say 9:30 10:00 in the morning that's how it started and I got my first

uh my casualty basically I got a soldier with a bullet in the head right here behind this is my started right here this place next to how do you first of all you're talking about how do you handle it how do you handle such a thing what what do you I think you know you know me for like know each other for over 20 years and I'm this busy I I I didn't even stop the thing we like 18 hours on the ambulance the first two three days we in here like uh like 10 minutes and 20 minutes um that's we were getting out I was taking to hospital time Four soldiers wounded at a time with bullets holes in the

arms and the legs and the stomach the back like I told before my first one was right here I got I don't even know if he made it or not but uh we're busy we're busy and can stop think about anything we're this busy and uh you're busy being the heroes of am what should I tell you it's unbelievable I don't know who handles I feel I feel I did I did something that other people were not willing to do and I don't like the word hero absolutely not I just feel that we there there are like angels from that were watching us and and we went in and got them out coming from you there's many songs we can

pick that is appropriate but I want to know what you think is appropriate okay that song by the way I'm sure you know that song was composed by Mara after the Omer war or right during I think during right when it started he was a 17-year-old something it was a 17-year-old boy by the cotel and he wrote that song very appropriate for now too so many parents sending off their children to be soldiers and to to the front lines and not knowing whether they're going to come back or not and this is the song he wrote at that time which is you pick a song that's very appropriate for exactly right now

called back to Israel to fight Rudy Rockman joins me now Rudy you're live on the front lines how do you feel about being a part of the humanity of the of of what Israel is about to do in Gaza because there's sure to be a lot of casualties civilian casualties how do you feel about that absolutely as a reservist we're prepared for many many years to be able to defend our country and unfortunately there's going to be casualties on both sides which is why none of us want to go to war we don't want to have to take life and we don't have to even want to be put into a position to defend life but

Hamas wants to maximize the deaths on both sides they attack civilians whether we saw with the gruesome attacks that they did in the massacres or by shooting Rockets or Terror attacks but they also maximize deaths on the Palestinian side they intentionally Place their civilians their in places where where Rockets are being fired from in order for when Israel fires back and it has no other choice and it warns even before for those rockets and things to be hit also with the Palestinians so in reality we can see here that this is not an issue of a war between Jews and Muslims this is not a war

that happened on the border of Gaza on October 7th our reservist paratrooper units were one of the first units uh brought into combat where we fought Kamas terrorist for four days saw horrible massacres where men women children elderly were massacred from left to right uh the worst of images that you could imagine are burned into our memory uh but this is what we're here for we're here to fight and to defend our people uh we took out the Kamas militants the terrorists that were in Kaza which was one of the hardest hit communities and since then we've been uh prepared for the next stages of

the operations which obviously I cannot disclose or talk about but the morale of the soldiers is to put all the traumas that we witnessed to the side because we don't really have the luxury to deal with that right now and to stay strong for the rest of because we are on the front lines and if there is no tah if there is no Army there is no Israel and there is no Jewish people so we must be strong in these moments and we will win no matter what it is and we hope that when we uh see the smoke settling when we see everything going down that we'll be able to rebuild stronger and not only free the

Israelis from Kamas but also free the Palestinians from Kamas for us to all create a better land now that Israel is in Gaza I just want to ask you what would you say is the message for the Jewish people my message to the Jewish people is to understand the equation that has existed throughout time we have 4,000 years of history and in those 4,000 years whenever am is United Empowered and fulfilling their purpose we overcome all the struggles and all the worst of chapters of civilizations that come to hunt us now when we're divided when we're disempowered and we're assimilating this is the very

moment that the worst of exterminations oppressions and persecutions begin so all of what was going to happen depends on what we do now if we unite we will overcome if we continue dividing and fighting each other we will see a repeat of History so it's time for our generation to unite and to fulfill what we chose as our purpose wow Ry thank you so much Rudy for that we should see a day where you know the pr is going to be no PR it's going to be so truthful and so evident and so clear but we want to say thank you for people like you for pring the truth the and getting people to understand the
